Prof. Constantine M Nyamboga, Ph.D (Bangalore); B.A, BLINS, MLINS (Marathwada)
Prof. Constantine Matoke Nyamboga has a bias in Information systems and Knowledge management. He is a holder of Doctor of Philosophy in Information Science. Has worked in various management capacities at Universities of Egerton and Kisii.
In his secondment to Kisii University (2009 -2012), was appointed as the founding Dean for the School of information sciences and Technology. Prior to joining Lukenya University, he was the founding principal of Mount Kenya University, Kisii Campus (2013). In 2015, Prof. Nyamboga became Principal, MKU Kakamega Campus. Later in the year 2016, he was appointed the founding Dean, School of Computing and Informatics, Mount Kenya University.
As a scholar, Prof. Nyamboga has not only supervised widely but also attracted funding for both National book development Council and Kenya Association of information professionals (KLA).
As the Vice-chancellor, Lukenya University I am committed to nurture the University to produce the best workforce that will fit not in the Kenyan but also in the competitive global market.
