Lukenya University Library identifies with the quality objectives of the university as spelt out in its quality policy. The library is committed to fostering the attainment of the university vision and mission. The library is committed to excellence in provision and use of information and knowledge for teaching, research, learning and community service. In order to deliver quality services that meet the information requirements of you (our users) we strive to uphold the core values of the university which focuses on quality, teamwork, accountability, and transparency.
Our library boasts of a print book stock of 50, 000 volumes spread across all disciplines offered by the university. Bibliographic details can be accessed by our patrons via online public access catalogue (OPAC) accessed through our university website. Additionally, the library has subscribed to about 55,000 electronic journals and over 100,000 electronic books which are available to our users through the links provided on our university website.

The library is open to the student body, staff members and the general public. The rules and regulations of the library apply to the library visitor/user according to his/her status as an employee or student at the University, or as a member of the general public.
Any person who registers as a borrower at Lukenya University Library enters into a contract with the University Library, and agrees to abide by the rules of the library. Special rules apply to students and employees of the university who have a library card.
