🌱 3rd Edition Marathon

Lukenya University successfully hosted the 3rd Edition of its iconic 10 Million Tree Planting Marathon, attracting 316 registered participants across various race categories. The event combined sports, environmental conservation, and community engagement — a true reflection of the university’s commitment to sustainability and holistic development.
🏃 Participation Highlights:
Race categories included 42km, 21km, 10km, and a 5km fun run, including Mountain Bike and Black Mamba cycling.
Participation spanned elite athletes, university students, high schoolers, and local community members.

Women:
Atalena Napule – Position One
Ruth Wakabu – Position Two

All top finishers received certificates, medals, and cash prizes, awarded on the same day during a transparent and vibrant ceremony.
🌳 Environmental Impact:
680 tree seedlings planted during the event.
Featured species: Neem, Flamboyant, Moringa, Tamarind, and Warbugia.
