Prof. Constantine Matoke Nyamboga has a bias in Information systems and Knowledge management.  He is a holder of Doctor of Philosophy in Information Science. Has worked in various management capacities at Universities of Egerton and Kisii.

In his secondment to Kisii University (2009 -2012), was appointed as the founding Dean for the School of information sciences and Technology.  Prior to joining Lukenya University, he was the founding principal of Mount Kenya University, Kisii Campus (2013). In 2015, Prof. Nyamboga became Principal, MKU Kakamega Campus. Later in the year 2016, he was appointed the founding Dean, School of Computing and Informatics, Mount Kenya University.

As a scholar, Prof. Nyamboga has not only supervised widely but also attracted funding for both National book development Council and Kenya Association of information professionals (KLA). 

As the Vice-chancellor, Lukenya University I am committed to nurture the University to produce the best workforce that will fit not in the Kenyan but also in the competitive global market. This is achievable as in place the university has competent and visionary teams that embrace quality management systems.

Dr. Ali Hassan Khamah

Dr. Ali Hassan Khamah, Ph.D., MBA, DMM, Cert M&E, Cert TOT, Cert ED, Cert PMIR, PGDE, BA.

Designation: Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Finance and Planning

Ali Khamah holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration, Marketing, from Kabarak University, with a bias in Marketing Communication and Service Marketing. He is an accomplished marketer-cum-educationist. He has vast experience in university education having taught in other universities before joining Lukenya University. He is meticulous in service delivery, a very astute researcher and publisher. A consultant in business and education management.

Dr. Paul Mwania

Dr. Paul Mwania, Ph.D., MA (Econ.), BED (Hons)

Designation: Registrar Academic and Student Affairs

Paul Mwania holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Finance from Kenya Methodist University, He is also lecturer in the school of Business and Economics. He is a publisher and author, to which he has published a University text book with Lambert Publishers under the title financial technology adoption and Financial Inclusion. He has written several articles in several refereed journals touching on Economics and Education.

Dr. Judith Adikinyi Wafula

Dr. Judith Adikinyi Wafula, Ph.D. MSc. (Analytical Chemistry) MEd, Bed. (Science)

Designation: Registrar-Administration, Planning and Research

Judith Wafula holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Conflict Management from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. She is an experienced administrator and a lecturer. She is a mentor, trainer and consultant in Chemistry, Peace Studies and Education. She is a reviewer in scientific journals with research interest in Chemistry, Education and Peace Studies. She has widely published scientific papers in various refereed journals.

Dr. Ibrahim Haji Issak

Dr. Ibrahim Haji Issak, Ph.D. Agriculture, MSc. Animal Nutrition

Designation: Dean School of Agriculture & Technical sciences

Ibrahim Haji holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Science from University of Aberdeen, Scotland, U.K. and has over 30 years’ experience of working in the Agricultural value chain sectors. He has over 13 years teaching and research experience working the colleges and Universities both in the United Kingdom and Kenya. Currently is the director board of undergraduate studies and Dean School of Agriculture.

Dr. Asuma Mariita Nchaga

Dr. Asuma Mariita Nchaga, Ph.D. (HRM), MPA (HRM), BA.

Designation: Dean, School of Business and Economics

Asuma M. Nchaga holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Resource Management from Dr. H.S Gour University- India. He has taught in a number of universities in Kenya and abroad. He has published several research papers/articles in Local and international peer review journals. Currently, he is working on a university postgraduate studies textbook “The strategic manager”.

Dr. Ruth M. Kimeu

Dr. Ruth M. Kimeu, Ph.D., Med., BEd. Arts

Designation: Dean School of Education and Social Sciences

Ruth Kimeu holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum Studies from Maasai Mara University. She has a wealth of experience in educational teaching and learning. Above that she is an instructor and consultant in curriculum issues. She has published widely in various referred journals and presented papers in conferences.

Evans Motari Momanyi

Name: Evans Motari Momanyi, MScIS, BScIS.

Designation: Librarian

Evans Momanyi holds a Master in Information Science from Moi University. Momanyi is the Lukenya University librarian with vast experience in Information and library science for a period of over eleven years. His research interests center on librarianship, Information Literacy, ICTs in library service provision, library strategic management, information creation and sharing, intellectual property right, reading culture improvement, book publishing, bookselling and book distribution in Kenya. He has published in several referred journals.

Stanley M. Muli

Stanley M. Muli, MBA (MIS), BA (Mathematics & Computer Programming)

Designation: Director ICT

Muli holds a Masters in Management Information Systems. He has a wealth of experience having worked in Kenya in different capacities, Tanzania with Olotu Trading Co. as a Computer Manager, India with Sanchar A.R.O.D as MIS advisor and in Sierra Leone with National Youth Commission as a MIS/ Research Advisor. A well versed ICT personnel with excellent skills.
